Creating a high performing team takes a lot of work and a little luck. Teams that function at a high level need maintenance just like a piece of fine machinery. If your team would benefit from some "team maintenance", look over our offerings below. However, if your team is in need of repair or is dealing with productivity stifling issues, look at our other tools for improving performance.

Teambuilding!
What does that really mean? For many people, teambuilding is a catch-all phrase that covers a lot of different needs. All teams need maintenance. All teams will perform at a lower level is attention is not paid to the dynamics of the team. Sometimes this happens naturally when a formal or informal leader takes actions that attend to the interpersonal needs of the group or team. Other times, it only receives attention when there is a crisis. Our apporach to training and team dynamics is that every event whether it is a new project, a seminar, or a teaming event are opportunities to do teambuilding. Everything we do has has one of it's aims to build the team , to strengthen the team and make it more productive. Some of the ways we do this are described below:

Challenge Course Experience

In the hands of a skilled facilitator, the challenge course (aka ropes course) is a very powerful teaching tool. Call us to design a teambuilding training that includes an amount of challenge course programming that you prefer as well as instruction in our classroom.

Using the Moonshadow Challenge Course as the setting, your staff will spend the day solving problems, learning more about each other, practicing the behaviors of high performing teams and working on priorities that are determined by you and your staff. Our high energy facilitators will make it a day to remember with powerful connections to your daily tasks.

* One day, 2 day, and 3 day sessions provided for up to 60 employees per session
* Incorporates engaging, hands on learning techniques
* Team members learn the characteristics and behaviors of "high performing teams"

During the GEO Challenge, you and a small group of teammates will compete against other groups to complete a course using a Global Positioning System (GPS) device to locate boxes, solve the problem or task described, and proceed to the next box. In the spirit of "The Amazing Race", there are challenges - "roadblocks" along the way that must be surmounted by using teamwork, guile, and strategy. The team that solves the problems, finds all the boxes, and completes the circuit in the shortest amount of time is the champion. The course is laid out throughout the rolling terrain that surrounds the Brasstown Valley Resort.

Teaming with Style

With a mix of hands on activities that guarantee laughs and insights, this four hour session guides the group to improved teamwork through the exploration of individual differences and their value to the team. The group has the option to complete the surveys on-line before they arrive.
